TEXARKANA GOES GREEN

Waste Management is elated to report with the new Curbside Recycling Program in Texarkana, Texas, residents are recycling 500% more than in 2009. That equates to 117tons of recycled materials being diverted each month from the solid waste stream. In addition, residential green waste is now being diverted from the waste stream and transformed into rich compost.
